The Perfect Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Super Form According to the Astrological Sign

This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense enthusiasm within the fandom. Starting with the gradual unveiling of newcomers before the game's launch, to trainers forming firm opinions on the entire roster of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for enthusiasts to anticipate.

Given numerous of the Mega Evolutions boasting distinctive appearances that emphasize their traits, one idea naturally: What's the best way to connect this with zodiac signs? The following is based on a mix of vibes, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was almost chosen for this fire sign, as both are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that inspire the greatest apprehension. However, a Mega Houndoom appears as always furious, which doesn't match the Aries vibe, known for being playful, cheerful, and impulsive. That's why Aries much more akin to Super Camerupt, which only erupts when angered. Stay on the good side of both and enjoy a powerful partner; should you offend them, be ready to face the consequences.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Much like a loyal Taurus, the steadfast Heracross, both in its regular and Mega form, has assisted numerous trainers in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, each the creature and a Taurus are still Fighting types, and – whether it's their trainer or a firm belief – will defend their position unwaveringly. What about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unashamed love of treats. Many previous Pokédex entries note their fondness for tasty tree sap and how it employs its horn to hoard it all, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Look at this total royalty. It's impossible to tell me this Pokémon is not the life of every party, providing an endless fountain of chatter to anyone who wants to listen. Much like an enrapturing, sociable Gemini, it's incredibly easy to imagine Mega Medicham captivating an entire Wild Zone with their stories. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also mentions its ability to foresee an opponent's next moves, which seems very similar to a socially-savvy Twins.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

Cancer is widely considered as the most sensitive sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign famous for frequently becoming absorbed in their emotions. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution fills the creature with a “tremendous quantity of electricity, but it's excessive for Manectric to completely manage,” which seems a lot like a classic Cancer crash-out. It is also known for its ability to make a thundercloud over its very self – and if there’s one thing a Crab is likely to do, it’s rain on their own parade.

The Lion – Mega Starmie

Well, did you think I was planning to pick Pyroar for the lion of the zodiac? Aside from the fact that it would be much too on the nose, Leo is clearly Mega Starmie, the diva whose gams just became an internet sensation for being extremely glamorous (or terrifying, based on your taste). Players were captivated from the violet starfish, and that’s precisely the same energy a Lion offers to the table. This Pokémon is also said to be broadcasting radio waves from its red core out into space, and it’s just like a Leo to be putting on a performance, albeit for aliens.

The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Maiden is perfectly represented in Super Victreebel, the Mega with constant acid reflux. The sign known for being endearingly judgmental is strongly mirrored throughout this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a always surprised expression like a Virgo when you tell them you don’t have a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s similar to the emoji a Maiden posts to the group chat when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of creating a plan.

The Scales – Super Audino

Look at this gentle, empathetic being, who uses the sensors on its ears to tell how people are feeling by their pulse. Consistently empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and trying to keep the peace, there are many Scales who would likely appreciate Super Audino's skills. However, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to stress more about others.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a surprisingly sad backstory: Abandoned as a toy, it became sentient through sheer hatred and swore revenge on its previous caretaker. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like several discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpio adores karma and retribution, making them the ideal match with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Archers are constantly putting on a show. Being a Archer myself, the amount of times I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “playful little jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius counterpart I can imagine.

Capricorn – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the power to foresee disasters in advance? That gives the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who often always think they’re right. The thing is, similar to a prophetic Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the very first Super Form that trainers encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to get in on the beginning of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Mega Chandelure

Aloof element Aquarius is possibly the non-flame placement that is most like a fire sign – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are countless memes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s dual Spirit/Flame typing fits seamlessly with this, and the Mega’s general intimidating presence is also extremely Water Bearer. If you weren’t already persuaded, the Mega’s description says it “draws in negative energy and transforms it into power.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
